The city is also home to nature reserves and protected landscapes. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city's heart, there are many quiet, cozy places to relax.
Cairo has fifteen public and private universities including the American University and the British University and is a center of education for the wider region. It also has more than thirty-five high institutes that belong to The Ministry of Higher Education. Transportation in Cairo is no problem at all. Taxis, buses, mini buses and the underground are all available alongside app-based services such as Uber and Careem.
