Our training centre in Co. Donegal is located in the town of Bundoran. Although small, Bundoran is a popular destination with locals and visitors from all over the world. The town is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the Glenveagh National Park and Slieve League nearby, not to mention the many beaches. The waves here are great for surfing and Bundoran is a well known surfing destination.

Bundoran has plenty to offer people of all ages from breathtaking hikes in the gorgeous countryside to live music at one of the many pubs, bars and clubs. Traditional Irish food can be enjoyed at the numerous restaurants in town and the seafront is home to an adventure park and an indoor water park. History lovers will want to pay a visit to one of the many historic sites nearby where much of Irish history has been written.

Getting to the town couldn’t be easier. There is a direct bus service from Dublin Airport and public transport services from other parts of the country. Nearby Sligo and Donegal Town are only a few minutes journey by bus or car and the larger cities of Galway and Derry are just a short trip away.

The School

The TESOL training centre is located in Bundoran town just a few minutes away from the beach. At the school you will have access to photocopying facilities, Wi-Fi internet, a research centre with computers and internet access, and resource books. The centre is a working language school so you will gain a real insight into the life of an English language teacher, and get hands on experience with genuine English language learners.

Tea and coffee are provided at the school free of charge and there are microwaves for students to use for heating up their own meals. In the area around the training centre there are a number of small shops selling drinks and snacks, as well as several cafes and restaurants. The town is easy to get around on foot or by bicycle and the training centre is no more than 10 minutes away from the accommodation options we offer.

Accommodation

We have several accommodation options available to attendees of the Bundoran TESOL course. These include bed and breakfast stays on the seafront, houses or apartments and accommodation with local families.

Prices for accommodation vary depending on the time of year and availability. However, a one week stay in an en-suite room in a local bed and breakfast would cost approximately €200.

The cost of a week-long stay in a fully furnished house or apartment is approximately €100. This is a good option for those bringing family or friends.

Our final option is a room in the house of a local family. This is a great way to get to know the locals and to experience the real Ireland. The price for this option is similar to our other options.

All accommodation options include internet, fully furnished rooms/apartments, towels and bed-linen, and breakfast (unless you choose to rent an apartment or house).

Course fees

The total price is divided into: deposit and balance.

The deposit may be paid via a) credit card b) Paypal c) wire transfer d) Western Union.

The balance of the course fee must be paid by cash, PayPal or bank transfer directly to the training center on the first day of the course.

 

Accomodation Fees

The accommodation fees are not part of the course price and you are free to choose whichever accommodation option you prefer.

If you choose to use our accommodation, it should be paid for either by cash, PayPal or bank transfer directly to the school at the start of the course.
