In English, it is hard to associate speaking and writing because it is not a phonetic language. but the more students can write in this language, the easier it will be to speak and memorize the words needed. All four of this applications: reading,listening, writing, and speaking tie into each other. If a student is better at one than the other, there are other students that can encourage in their area of expertise. The better you become at one of these aspects, the easier it can be to learn the others. This unit also helped me realize the importance in focusing in one of these each class.
