In unit 8 we learnt about Productive skills. These are speaking and writing. Students need to be able to speak the language well to develop fluency. Using activities in the class helps to develop vocabulary which in turn helps with writing. There are lots of games you can play in class to develop writing. I would choose word searches,memory games and also Round Robin, where you begin with a question. I went to the zoo and I saw......? the students have to remember the previous person's word and then add their own. This is good for vocabulary.
Writing articles and stories allows the students to develop skills with written English, punctuation and spelling.
