This unit focuses on modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. It starts with the modal auxiliary - basic rules for their use, as well as ideas on how to teach them are given. Exercises are also present, to help the teacher evaluate their own understanding of the subject. For the passive voice we have enlisted it's form and usage, as well as common students' mistakes and teaching ideas. As for the phrasal verbs, the unit offers examples and definitions of each of the three types of the phrasal verbs - Type 1 (Intransitive), Type 2 (Transitive Separable), and Type 3 (Transitive inseparable). I remember going through these grammatical rules as an English student, and I remember how hard it was to grasp their usages and correct forms. I think this will help me empathize with the students on this lesson, thus helping me be patient and find the right way of making them internalize the information.
