The unit was very insightful in providing information on how to create an appropriate lesson for a receptive skills class. The unit also provided one sample classwork activity as well as an outline on a patchwork ESA lesson. The unit also helped to distinguish between different kinds of usages of receptive skills such as skimming a text for general information or scanning for specific information.
