I found the past perfect continuous tense particularly challenging in this unit because of its limited usage and specific meaning. The review of past simple, continuous, and perfect tenses allowed me to build on what I learned in the past unit involving present tenses. Because past tenses (obviously) involve past actions, situations, etc., I believe that they will be more challenging to teach and learn because it necessitates the individual to consider less straight-forward scenarios to arrive at the correct answer. This awareness will allow me to more effectively teach the material, returning to the present tense as a more simple, comparative example when necessary.
