In this unit, the classroom was broken down and studied as not only a physical space but also a physiological space that is as much a part of the learning process as the lessons and activities themselves. The unit emphasized the different pros and cons that can come with organizing a classroom and in a way that not only will benefit the teacher and give him or her the best chance at having a positive and engaging lesson, but also benefit the students learning experience. I think the most useful elements for me was the tips on what to look for in a classroom to gauge the attitudes of students and how best to approach them after realizing these different signs.
