While this unit was a longer unit, it was full of a lot of information. Some of the information in this unit I have already been exposed to, thanks to my choral classes. When learning other languages we would always spell everything out phonetically so we would better understand the pronunciation and be able to speak more fluently. There were other symbols that I had not experienced, though. I can see how this would be a difficult thing to teach, especially the stressing. I will need to have a set lesson with a lot of activities to teach this unit. I think there could be some fun activities to do that would help make this easier for the students. I know from watching videos of non-native English speakers speak, that this is one of the hardest, and most easily recognizable traits to identify a non-native speaker.
