In this unit I went over the four present tenses; the present simple, present continuous/present progressive, present perfect and present perfect continuous. The present simple form uses the base form of the verb. The present continuous uses the aux. verb 'be' with the verb + ing. The present perfect form relates the past the present, using the aux. verb 'have' + past particle. Lastly, the present perfect continuous form uses the aux. verb 'have' + been + verb + ing.
