In this unit, I was introduced to the phonemic alphabet for the first time. While I feel reasonably confident about the answers I gave in this quiz, translating the words for question nine of the worksheet was next to impossible. At no other time in this unit was phonemic writing and word joining combined and it was frustrating to have that come out of nowhere. Watching the class was very interesting and helpful to get a better idea of how this subject can be introduced to students.
