In this chapter I have learnt the importance of planning a lesson and how to plan it. A lesson plan is made to prepare for the class and gives teachers a reference during lessons. It also serves as a record. Although a detailed plan is sometimes made, teachers should also be flexible during the class. A lesson plan should include things such as the objective of the class, teaching aids, procedure, anticipated problems, phase (ESA), timing etc. A lesson plan helps teachers to remind themselves of the lesson and what should be done during the lesson and to make sure that the students achieve their objectives. After a lesson is conducted, an evaluation form is also written to evaluate the lesson. The things included in an evaluation form are the extent which the students achieve their objective, accuracy of anticipated problems, how to solve the problems etc.
