This unit contains four grammatical lessons . The first lesson is about auxiliary verbs ,its rules , uses for and how to use them. A table with examples and teaching ideas with rules are also mentioned there.
The second lesson talks about two voices in English and that is the active and the passive.Though,the lesson did not go deep into the active voice like the way it did with the passive voice. It emphasizes that intransitive verbs cannot be used in the passive but only transitive verbs are the tools for it .A table of tense in passive formation with examples and teaching ideas are also brought forward .
The third lesson is elaborates on relative clauses.After the introduction,it carries forward by categorizing clauses into three with their sub introduction s.And that is independent,dependent and relative.After that some examples to add more understanding are also there.
The fourth lesson is about phrasal verbs. As usual introduction of it is presented and carries forward by categorizing it into three.And that is type 1 intransitive ,type 2 transitive separable and type 3 transitive inseparable with their examples.
It also carries on by advising teachers to encourage students to use phrasal verbs so that they should become more familiar to them .
I have learnt a lot in all the four lessons .
