This unit goes over problem situations that teachers could face in classrooms. In a first lesson, teachers should establish rapport between studednts, find out the needs of students and their English level, and should refrain from using course book. Examples of warmer activites are hangman, pictionary, and memory games. When faced with a group that has students from varying English levels, it is recommended that the teacher pair stronger students with weaker ones. Teacher should also encourage the use of English although this does not mean the native language should be completely banned.
