This unit does a great job of defining the role of the teacher. A teacher must have the ability to administer a lesson but also monitor the progression of many different learners with different personalities, different learning philosophies, and different learning aptitudes. In addition to basic learning structures the unit also touches on how a teacher may react to negative scenarios such as cultural differences or natural characteristics such as short attention spans. The unit also details how one would define current aptitude levels using two different scaling systems--one an officially recognized grading system (A, B, C as used in Europe) and another in more generous terms that can be applied globally and language which can be shaped and defined for more subjective purposes.
