Unit 4 discusses present tenses: present simple, present continuous/progressive, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. The unit goes through each of these present tenses and outlines their grammatical form (affirmative, negative and question), usage along with examples, common mistakes and errors, and Activate stage activity suggestions/ideas. I've achieved a good base understanding of the present tenses and uses. I also liked the common mistakes and errors sections which helped me to develop my own thinking strategies for how to explain and correct errors and mistakes. The task sheet helped me to review my notes and readings and allowed me to gain more confidence when it is time for me to explain these 4 aspects of the present tense to my student(s).
