This lesson was just as difficult as the past tense and just as important to differentiate between the different forms. I learned that the different tenses are very similar in their differences, but the usages are where the biggest distinctions lie. I can use this to my advantage when teaching, by helping the students to draw similarities between forming sentences with present tense versus past and future tense. To break down the usages and help them understand the appropriate times in which they should be used will be difficult but after understanding these topics myself, I feel I can show them a way to make it stick.
