Being english, and completing all my required examinations during my school days, then going on to qualify in other areas such as BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) followed by qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management. It didn’t occur to me that at my age, I would ‘engage in’ and enjoy going back to school. Since living in
malaysia for the past five years, it has become evident that a strong knowledge of the english Language is unique and much admired by the locals. When I learnt of the obvious advantages to be gained from TEFL, my husband and I wasted no time in signing up for the course. I have arranged my days allowing time for my study time and have enjoyed learning a new vocation. My
children, who enrolled into an international school, were deeply let down due to the lack of professionalism and a poor grasp of english by the teachers. For the past two and a half years I have been home schooling my two sons (aged 10 and 14) and am practicing my new skills on the boys, which encouraged me to push on and complete the units. I am confident that the course will allow me to
offer, not only my new skills, but encourage others to achieve their goals (whatever your age). Upon completion of TEFL I along with my husband intend to set up an english Language Centre.
