This course has made me realize just how complex the english language is. I’ve learnt so much from the course, that I didn’t even know existed! The course has made me see where my strengths and edges are when teaching and has made me see how I can improve and educate myself further. I have been able to use this course to help with my own study of a foreign language and I have been able to convert what I am learning into ideas of how I could help others learn a language. It’s helped me to see how I learn and different learning styles and techniques and what works well, and not so well. I want to use the skills that I have gained from this course as a way to take my life to a new level, and bring others with me. I want to encourage and spread my excitement of learning a new language to the world, and make a difference in people’s lives. I believe that learning and language a new culture is an amazing skill, and opens our minds up to a whole new world, which is ready to explore. I want to be able to use this course as a guide and stepping stone to moving abroad, and as a great tool that I can use to get a job and start a career. After travelling around the world, I can see there is so many places that I want to visit and explore, and I will probably settle down abroad one day. To have a skill which I can take with me anywhere in the world is a great tool to have, and I can’t wait to use it. I want to start by travelling more, and meeting new people and learning new cultures with my partner. He is Filipino, and we are likely to settle their one day. I want to use these skills to teach my own children english, as I want them to grow up speaking both Tagalog and english. I see how much his family love to learn english and I believe I could make a difference to his family’s lives by helping them and teaching them english.
