I learned quite a bit about grammatical rules. Furthermore, I learned common class management strategies and activities in class that I believe would be very effective for all student levels. I also learned to focus on certain aspects of my teaching that I may not have noticed such as my voice, gesture and overall demeanor. Classroom dynamics such as the different kinds of situations I may encounter and how to handle them also will be very helpful.
I think I will try to implement what I have learned gradually and flexibly until I find methods that work well for me and my students. I will also periodically go back to the units and experiment with different ideas just to mix things up a bit.
