From this course I have gained new knowledge and concepts regarding teaching english and teaching in general. Having to create lesson plans in the course was something I’ve never done properly before, which can definitely help me to become a more organized and better teacher. There were lots of teaching ideas/activities which I can definitely use in my teaching and to make the lesson more enjoyable and effective.
Grammar/part of speech units clarified many language problems that I’ve overlooked before e.g. tenses, usage and structures. I believe I now can be more confidence when facing questions from students and be able to provide better explanations.
I also have found the online resources, links, references from the course are very useful in a long term, there are lots of materials I could download/print out for students or for my own references.
