I have reviewed the parts of speech (I learned them well in college but great to have to study them again, I have always liked
english studies) but also have learned more details of present , past and future tenses; and new items such as Conditional and Reported Speech plus Passive voice and other grammar items. I liked practicing lesson plans to understand an ‘outline’ for the class though it may not be followed exactly as planned but good to have one for a teacher to stay ‘on track’. I really enjoyed the ideas for teaching/study activities and ideas for the active stage (example provided). Great resources were provided throughout the course as well. By the time I viewed the DVD in Lesson 10, I had a great understanding how to teach (and not teach!) an ESL class.
