Personally, I've learned that preparation is key to the beginning of successfully teaching. It is important to have an objective and create activities that are fun and educational based around this goal. In addition, that each student is different and requires close attention to pinpoint strengths, weakness and motivation of students. That feedback and communication is essential. There are many more things that I gained from the program.
My plan to implement what I've learned is to understand what the students/parents/employers are wanting to gain from class, establish a teaching structure, fully understand the information being taught as to constructively answer students' questions, create a schedule for feedback days, learn and adjust as I gain experience, have lots of interactive and fun education games.
