During this course I have been challenged in my own knowledge of the english language. The language lessons helped me to learn and review important concepts. I can empathize with anyone trying to learn english for I have had my own struggles with it.
I have especially enjoyed the lessons about how to teach and manage a classroom. In the future I can definitely see myself referring to these lessons and making use of many of the ideas given. When creativity and education mix the result can be very inspiring.
While I still feel I have much to learn, this course has given me the foundation and confidence to make a start in the Teaching english as a Second Language world. My hope is that I can reach out to foreigners and not only equip them for an english speaking society, but also to build meaningful relationships. Circumstances permitting, I will have my first student starting in February of this year.
