From this course I have learned how to become a good teacher to students of other languages. I have been educated on how to make appropriate and organized lesson plans that will intrigue the students. I have learned how to teach grammar and been instructed about the different tenses. I have learned about receptive and productive skills and how to best incorporate activities related to this in class. I have been taught how to teach students correct pronunciation. This course has taught me numerous invaluable things that I intend to apply to my teaching.
Currently I am teaching at two elementary schools in korea. However, next year I hope to teach at a university in Korea, in which I hope to implement all the material that I have learned from this course. I have learned how to be a good teacher and how to produce good learners. I can appropriately manage the students when they are misbehaving. I now know how to make lesson plans that will keep students engaged and captivated. I will produce a classroom that provides a safe and comfortable learning environment for students yet positively challenges them at the same time. The knowledge that I have acquired from this course has made me a stronger teacher in which I hope I can make a difference in the english education of Korean college students.
