I am very glad to have solidified my foundation in the fundamentals of english grammar, as before this course I think my understanding was primarily intuitive. Now that I have finished the course, I feel much more confident in my ability to both intellectually understand and effectively teach grammar.
I am also extremely grateful to have had so much instruction, coaching, and practice in creating effective lesson plans. Prior to the course, my ability to write and carryout lesson plans was comparatively wanting. Very little of my teaching experience is from class instruction and I found the information regarding how to manage a classroom and teach a group interesting and useful.
I have already implemented the types of lessons into my private teaching, as I particularly like the concept of lesson phases. I look forward to continuing my pedagogical education and honing my craft even further!
