Many language schools are reluctant to go through the process of getting a work permit for a non-EU teacher when they can simply hire one with an EU passport. TaLK stands for Teach and Learn in Korea, a government sponsored program that recruits foreign nationals to work as ESL teachers in elementary schools all over South Korea.
