The idea of TESOL standards could refer to several different areas of English language teaching and training. Below we take a look at some of them in detail. These two terms are often confused as being the same thing, they are not. Accreditation relates to an external validation process, whereby a recognized body (such as a university) inspects the full course delivery and decides if it meets a set of criteria for that certificate level.   Our next consideration is going to be building and maintaining rapport. The importance of rapport is that within our communicative activities, we're asking the students to talk to each other. If they feel comfortable with each other and with us, then that interaction is much more likely to be useful. So how do we actually build and maintain rapport?   The first part of my study phase is going to be the board work and I'm going to use the information that I generated in the elicitation part of my engage phase to move on to the actual board work.   As mentioned earlier, to form this tense, we have to use a special form of the verb. Technically it's called the past participle form with irregular verbs. Of course these past participle forms change quite a bit from its base form of the verb. Here are a few examples 'go' moves to 'gone', 'be' moves to 'been', 'write' to 'written', 'speak' to 'spoken' and 'read'.
