Our TESOL training centre is located in Vecindario on the south-east Coast of the island. Vecindario is the second largest town in Gran Canaria and is the perfect location for you to study for your TESOL certificate. Just ten minutes away from Las Palmas and ten minutes away from the most popular tourist areas, we are well situated for you to make the most of what the island has to offer. The windsurfing beach of Pozo Izquierdo is just a quick two minute drive away and the diving cenre of Arinaga is only a five minute drive away.

The School

ITTT’s TESOL course in Gran Canaria is based in a newly built modern training school located in a quiet square in the town of Vecindario on the south-east coast of the island. The training centre has a reception area, 3 large classrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and chill out area which is available for course students.

The centre’s classrooms are all fully air conditioned with state-of-the-art interactive boards available for use by trainees. We also offer free internet and use of computers and projectors to all course participants.

We have a main kitchen available for all trainees during the course. This kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, sink, small oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and a dishwasher.

Additionally, there is a chill out area with a sofa and a study zone. There is another, smaller kitchen here consisting of a sink, a washing machine and a small fridge; all of which are available to trainees throughout the course. You will also find many supermarkets, cafes, bars and restaurants near to the centre.

During their TESOL training, trainees will teach both small and large groups of English students in the different classroom environments. This ensures that you will be prepared for teaching at all levels, for all ages and group sizes when you enter the TESOL job market.

Accommodation

Accommodation costs are not included in the TESOL course fees and you are free to choose whichever accommodation option is most suitable for you.

We have relationships with a number of local establishments and housing agencies on the island. We can therefore recommend rooms and apartments just a short walk from our centre or, if trainees prefer to stay in other parts of the island, we can recommend numerous rooms and apartments within a 10 mile radius. Prices for accommodation are reasonable and public transport is easy to access and use. We can also assist you in getting travel cards so that trainees can travel the island conveniently on public transport. We can also arrange bike/car hire if required.

Course fees

The total price is divided into: deposit and balance.

The deposit may be paid via a) credit card b) Paypal c) wire transfer d) Western Union.

The balance of the course fee must be paid by cash, PayPal or bank transfer directly to the training center on the first day of the course.

 

Accomodation Fees

The accommodation fees are not part of the course price and you are free to choose whichever accommodation option you prefer.

If you choose to use our accommodation, it should be paid for either by cash, PayPal or bank transfer directly to the school at the start of the course.
