1. Teach English in Tetovo, Macedonia
The English Department at South East European University invites Native English Language Speakers to apply for a full-time English Language Instructor position with a focus on writing.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: A bachelor degree and a TESOL certificate (or equivalent) and preferably at least 2 years experience in teaching at a college / University level. The candidates should be:
- versatile, flexible and prepared to live in a developing country
- have a strong knowledge of grammar
- take a communicative approach in the classroom
- are able to recognize learner needs and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
- are motivated and able to motivate others and make learning enjoyable
- make use of the large variety of resources available
- are culturally sensitive
- have the ability to develop a rapport with their students
The teaching load per week is up to 16 hours over four days depending on the schedule. Our college offers excellent working conditions and resources.
The academic year runs from late September to June, divided into two fifteen-week semesters. Holidays normally include all Orthodox and Muslim Festivities, and eight weeks in summer.
The salary is 800-1000 Euro per month after taxes depending on qualifications and experience. The contract is initially signed for one year. It is then renewable on a yearly basis thereafter.
We can provide accommodation on campus at no cost. Should the candidate decide to rent an accommodation outside of the campus, the University will be willing to help in finding a suitable place either in the city of Tetovo or the capital Skopje.
2. Two English Teachers Required in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Seal Language Centre operates 4 schools across the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia: Brcko, Bijeljina, Zvornik and East Sarajevo. Seal Schools are committed to offering native-speaking teachers to students in levels from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced, and presently employ 2 native-speaking teachers (from Australia and England).
We are now looking for 2 additional teachers, female or male, with a British or an Australian accent who are TESOL qualified (or equivalent) to take on a full-time teaching position in our schools in Bijeljina and Sarajevo (2 of our 4 schools in Bosnia).
The position would be for a term (approx 5 months). Classes run Monday to Friday.
Both teachers will be required to teach students from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced levels, with ages ranging from 12 to 50. Class sizes are usually between 6 to12 students.
The teachers will be required to work Monday to Friday (occasionally on Saturdays). Classes are generally held in the afternoon and evening.

Choose how often you teach, can be up to 12 classes a day, or as few as 8.
The curriculum is provided by the school. Earn a good local salary. The salary package would not include expenses like
accommodation and food etc, but these expenses are very affordable. Salary would be around 450-550 Euros/month.
