This unit focuses on two receptive skills: listening and reading. As a teacher, we need to make sure the lesson is well suited for the students' level, which means the article or audio clip we choose must vary to suit weak and strong students throughout the lessons. There have been many cases in my own experience when learning a second language that teachers would pre-teach vocabulary words that were most likely slightly higher in level before tackling the article itself.
