Overall, this unit went over the multiple uses of modals have, how passive voice shifts the focus from the 'doer' to the object, the differences between defining and non-defining relative clauses, and finally how phrasal verbs are constructed. I agreed that teaching phrasal verbs is difficult and easiest way for students to remember phrasal verbs is to use them often during class, rather than learning the complex differences between transitive separable, transitive inseparable, and intransitive. This way, students will become familiar with the different contexts they are used in and when to use them. I also found the chart of modals with examples to be quite helpful to know how they are used in many situations.
