This has been a great way to conclude the grammar section of the course. I found a lot of the grammar items quite challenging myself. Knowing how modal auxiliary verbs sound makes this easier for me. But for students, I imagine the best way to learn this is to look at the table provided and just try to practice.
I think the passive voice will be fun to learn but difficult to understand. Interestingly, I found the content ostensibly simple but had to think hard to answer the questions. It seems that all of these grammar items are harder than they look at first.
Luckily, relative clauses were straightforward because phrasal verbs were not! I think it was my knowledge of English that got me through these. They would be very confusing for those wanting to learn English. I will stick with the recommendation here and teach them as singular vocabulary items.
