This lesson taught me the lesson of there being four distinct groups of basic learning skills. These are the receptive skills, which are reading and listening, and the productive skills, which are writing and speaking. Another important lesson learned from Unit 7 is to understand the importance of picking a topic. The topic should not only be concise with an important lesson to learn but also interesting to the students so the information is better received.
