I always enjoy these practical application units the most. Reading them gives solid insight into the process of teaching English itself. Dialing in on how to adjust your teaching methods for different groups helped wrap my mind around the various needs and motivations of English learners. Referring back to the ESA section helped me mentally formulate how I would write up a lesson plan and execute it in a professional setting. Using needs evaluation questionnaires seems immensely helpful in plotting out a course for professional settings as well.
