This unit covered commonly used equipment and teaching aids that may be available for use in classrooms. Effective use of each tool was covered in detail, along with benefits and potential disadvantages. Technologically advanced tools and their usefulness and continuing emergence were also discussed. This included the importance of potential training that may be required, knowing how to use the tools effectively, and their place in the classroom today. An extensive list of online tools and resources was provided, with specific links for each. Highlighted throughout the entire lesson was the importance of being well prepared in order to use lesson time efficiently and effectively no matter which classroom tools were to be used.
