Unit 16 covers conditionals and reported speech. The unit begins by discussing the grammar patterns and usage of the five types of conditionals which consist of zero, first, second, third and mixed. Following this is a section on reported speech vs direct speech and how to formulate them based on what you are given as well as examples to explain the content. Both parts are followed by teaching ideas to help in planning your own future lessons. I feel that this unit has given me a great deal to think about as much of this has become innate and this will help me to classify that knowledge in order to teach it to my students.
