While this unit covered a lot of material, I felt that it was incredibly useful to get this overview of modals, the passive voice, and all the different types of phrasal verbs. I never considered the topic of, for instance, phrasal verbs prior to reading this unit -- they have always been something that I just said naturally without much thought. Similarly, I never noticed the crucial difference between defining and non-defining relative clauses. Now that I went over it, I can't help but notice this essential difference throughout every article, book, or other piece of text that incorporates relative clauses that I see.
