I felt that this unit was really useful, as all of the circumstances or issues it described are ones I expect to meet at some point or another. I think that learning how to deal with all potential situations is important before actually entering a classroom to teach, as I don't want to encounter any cases where I am lost on what to do in front of students. I look forward to using warmers and other ice-breakers when I start teaching and engage the class on the first day, and, even before studying this unit, I always maintained that building strong rapport with students on a personal level, too, is important for a successful learning environment.
