This unit showed 2 example videos of teaching . It was an excellent demonstration of the effectiveness of the teachers. Video 1 showed a teacher who was disorganised , was rude and intolerant towards his students. He seemed to have no idea of what his outcome was or if the students were understanding what he was trying to impart. He made his students confused and fearful , he was showing his annoyance and shaming student when they were not correct. He was unable to get the students to understand his tasks or exercises. I felt the student gained very little from this class. His structure was not effective and left me confused about what he was trying to achieve. Video 2 on the other hand had a clear outcome for the class , the teacher showed respect and consideration for his students, he spoke clearly and calmly , in a way the students could all understand. He was patient and took his time to explain what he was wanting the students to do in the exercises and study . He had good props to help the students understand, The students were enjoying the class and participating freely . The teacher was well organised , monitored the class well and kept the lesson fun and to the correct level of understanding of his students . It showed how important is is to be well organised and have clear lesson plan in place . Also to create a learning situation where the student feels safe and free to participate. It also showed when a lesson in well planned then the out come is achieved in an effective fun and fullfilling manner
