Unit 13 was about teaching pronunciation and phonology. Phonology deals with stress, rhythm and intonation of English. Intonation is very important because it reveals the meaning of the sentence and if the person for example wants to continue or he is done and expects some answer. Stress can also change the meaning of sentences or even words. There is a difference in simple YES and YES?. In this unit I have learnt how I can teach these aspects of English.
