In this unit I have read about modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. I have always loved to learn and teach modal auxiliary verbs because when a non-native person learns how to use them, suddenly their speech becomes more natural. With the knowledge of modals you can express obligations, permissions, abilities, advice, etc.. That is not possible without knowing modals. Passive voice we use when there is no need to express who is the doer of the action which we are talking about. And finally, phrasal verbs. They are also a big part of using the fluent and correct language but can be hard to teach and remember. I think it is best to teach them as vocabulary items.
