Unit 8 treated Teaching Productive Skills which has been quite insightful. Accuracy and fluency are recognised as important aspects of productivity in writing and speaking, and factors affecting how each could be better approached and applied are treated. The unit rounds off with a presumed lesson presentation of a typical Straight Arrow ESA lesson aimed at improving learners' writing skills. I find this unit very interesting and also helpful. Now, I must say, I have extra important information regarding how to best teach productive skills to students.
