Every type of teaching has their own set of difficulties. No matter who the students are, there will be barriers, miscommunications, and problems that the teacher will face. It is why it is important to establish a rapport with the students to know their strengths and weaknesses. It is also helpful to know the personalities of each student. Another thing to consider when teaching is to always begin a class with a game or activity that will warm up their brains. Examples of these are games( pictionary, hangman etc.). And lastly, it is important to encourage students to avoid using their native language unless it is absolutely necessary. Even though they are having a hard time expressing themselves, it will help them develop the confidence and the skill to talk in English.
