This unit featured a run-down of Authentic and Created materials. It explained the difference between them, the benefits and drawbacks of both and when they should be used. It also went in-depth on the topic of course books, specifically what they contain, advantages/disadvantages, how to use them and (if given the option) how to select a course book suitable for your class. I feel like I already understood the Authentic/Created materials part, as this was covered to some extent in earlier lessons, but the information on how to effectively use course books was very helpful.
