In this unit, I have learned about the importance of teaching pronunciation. In the introduction of this unit, it talked about how pronunciation is the most overlooked aspect of teaching English. I do agree that pronunciation is a neglected aspect because it definitely was a subject that I didn't want to teach to the students I have tutored. However, I have learned a lot about intonation, stresses, and the place and manner of articulation. (Also, I learned that I still don't like this area of teaching) Above all else, I have really learned that it is very important to understand and grasp the teaching of pronunciation in order for the students to speak naturally.
