This Unit mentioned a lot about techniques of teaching pronunciation and phonology. The phonemic alphabet is also introduced vividly. Once we are familiar with the IPA, we should be able to accurately pronounce any word in the dictionary. It doesn't matter where you are from, or what variety of English you speak. The phonetic alphabet is simply a set of symbols that represent the way we, as English speakers, put sounds together to form words.
