I have Understood that, in grammar, before you use the phrasal verb and passive voice you have to first understand the meaning. The passive voice describes a verb being happened to the subject of the sentence, rather than the subject carrying it out. For example: The bread was eaten by the children. The pens were collected by her. The bed was made by John. There is also an active voice which describes the subject actually doing the action. For example: I made the bed. I am cooking lunch. The phrasal verb is the doing word in the sentence.
