This unit was especially helpful because it gave insight into the types of tests that my students took before getting to my classroom, and the types of tests I'll be preparing students for if I have the privilege of teaching a TEFL class in another country. It also helped to reorient my attitude towards tests - coming from an English university background, most of the assessment is based on paper submissions and revision, not examinations.
