Unit 19 is about teaching special groups. The groups discussed in this lesson are beginners, individual students, children, teaching English for specific purposes and monolingual and multilingual classes. Each special group presents different peculiarities and challenges so the teacher will need a different approach and apply different skills when having these type of classes. I think this lesson is very important for a new teacher. New teachers with no experience need to adapt a "normal" lesson taking into consideration all specific needs of the target group. It is true that in reality all groups will be different but these special groups will present some characteristics that are very important to be aware of.
